Wait for it to come close and then dodge or run away from your spot. The one the Titan throws at you is tougher. To avoid the stationary energy sphere, all you have to do is move slightly and/or dodge. In both cases they hit hard if you don’t avoid them. The Titan can either spawn an energy sphere on your current position (can be on the ground or in the air) or form one above its own head and throw it your way. Even if your main suit is better geared, the hover mechanic of the Storm will give you unfair advantage. If you are struggling to kill a Titan for a mission or achievement and you have the Storm exosuit, just put it on and go to Freeplay or the specific mission. The Storm Javelin lass has a huge advantage in this fight over the other exosuits, because of its ability to hover for a much longer period of time. This makes the next few seconds of the fight even more complicated, so always do your best to avoid catching fire. On a smaller titans, part of a world event or mission, this attack can be weaker in the sense that the rings may only spawn and expand on the ground, not on the “second floor” (in the air).Ĭatching fire will put your engines on cooldown, not allowing you to fly for a short period of time. When things get hot, however, it is not always possible for you to avoid getting hit.

If you want to speed things up, you can also jump over the ground rings and either fly above the “second floor” ones or go under them. To avoid them, I suggest fly high and just wait them out. The rings can move on the ground or on what I would call “second floor”. Several rings of fire will spawn at the Titan’s spot one after another and begin expanding in a wide circular shape until they disappear. When the Titan leans forward and touches the ground with its hand, you should expect one of the most annoying and dangerous attacks – the fire rings.
